Recently stationed Air Self-Defense Force rookie Hisone Amakasu is chosen by a dragon concealed within Gifu Air Base to be his pilot. She learns to work alongside other Dragon pilots (D-Pilots) and makes many relationships, alongside her dragon, Masotan.
