Season 3 opens after Aidan Waite (Witwer) buried alive as a punishment from vampire leader Mother, Sally Malik (Rath) in a state of limbo and Josh Levinson's (Huntington) plot to kill his maker Ray, which endangered Nora. But then Aidan resurfaces from being grounded.
