Julian Marsh got big money from Abner Dillon to provide what he do best: a TV show which may be his last. That happens because Abner Dillon is in love with the main character of the show: Dorothy Brock. Unfortunately, Dorothy don't return his love. Later on, Dorothy broke her ankle during training. One girl of the show's crew steps up to take the task replacing her.
