Pather Panchali

The priest Harihar Ray lives in poverty in the rural Bengal and dreams to be a poet and playwright. To look for a better work, he leaves his wife and two children to go to the city. But when he returns his home with the properties he earns in the city is also the time he figures out that his little daughter has died from a fever.
