Get On Up

"Get On Up" tells the life story of James Brown from he was a boy living in poverty until he becomes one of the most influential musicians in history. The turning point of his life happens when he is 17, steals a suit and is sentenced with five to thirteen years in prison, where he meets Bobby Byrd, who sees his enthusiastic reaction to music so decides to sponsor his release and invites him to join his singing group Famous Flames.
