Fiddler on the Roof

Set at the beginning of the 20th century, in the pre-revolutionary Russia of the Czars, it is a story of a Jewish farmer, who lives in a small village of Anatevka, fights for marrying off three of his daughters according to the traditions of the Jewish community while his village is threatened by the growing antisemitic sentiment.
