Eastern Promises

This film tells a story of a midwife at a North London hospital, Anna Khitrova and her relations with the Russian mafia in London. She witnesses a young teenager dies while giving birth to a baby, then tries to trace the baby's relatives. Things get complicated when she finds out more about on of the most notorious organized crime families.
