Dear John

This is a romantic drama starring Channing Tatum as John Tyree, a young soldier who meets Savannah Curtis, a conservative college student while he's home on leave. The two soon find themselves falling for each other, and for the next seven years, they stay in touch by sending a continuous stream of love letters overseas, as John is deployed abroad in dangerous missions.
