The story of CARS 3 stems from the collision between Lightning McQueen and the new generation of race cars. After the injury, McQueen was suddenly eliminated from his favorite racing sport. To get back on the runway, he needs help from a young female technician, Cruz Ramirez. Thanks to Cruz's plan, along with the inspiration for the Fabulous Hudson Hornet, McKinney will prove to everyone that # 95 is out of date and can still win the Pistachio Cup.
