Novelist Catherine Tramell gets trouble with the police again since she and her partner cause a accident which leads to her partner's death. Scotland Yard appoints psychiatrist Dr. Michael Glass to conduct a court-ordered psychiatric exam and give testimony in her case, but he is soon tempted by her and falls in a seductive game.
