Bajirao Mastani

The film is about the romance between Bajirao, the Peshwa (equivalent to Prime Minister) of Maratha and his second wife Mastani, a Muslim princess. They first meet each other when Mastani goes to Maratha as a emissary and asks Bajirao to help her kingdom fight invaders. Impressed by her skills as a warrior, Bajirao agrees to help her and then an affection develops between them during the battle.
